How to shop Cyber Monday online with friends.

Turn a solo tab marathon into a useful virtual shopping session—without sharing passwords, payment details or private checkout screens.

Meet where you already talk

Use FaceTime, Google Meet, Zoom, WhatsApp, Discord or a group chat. Cyber Monday Sale can organize the plan and comparisons, but your normal communication service should handle the conversation.

Start with lists and limits

Before anyone shares a deal, each person should know the top shopping goals and a comfortable spending limit. A shared call is more useful when friends are helping with planned decisions rather than creating new pressure.

Share product links, not account access

Drop public retailer or manufacturer links into the group chat. Do not share passwords, payment details, addresses, order histories or private checkout screens. Each shopper completes purchases privately with the retailer.

Use a Buy / Wait / Skip vote

When an unplanned product appears, give the group sixty seconds. Was it wanted before today? Is it the exact version? Does the full delivered total fit the budget? Would the shopper still want it tomorrow without the sale badge?

Divide the research

Assign categories or recipients. One friend can compare laptops while another checks gifts under a set amount. Bring the findings back to the group, then verify live prices and terms at the original source.

End with the smartest skip

Do a quick victory lap: best find, smartest skip, money not spent, and one item that still needs research. Cyber Monday does not have to end with every open tab becoming an order.
