PlayStation Planet of the Deals: check digital-game prices, not PS5 hardware
Sony announced hundreds of discounted PS4 and PS5 digital games through November 4. Match the game edition, your region and your console first; this event does not confirm a PS5 Pro markdown.
The confirmed sale and end date
Sony's October 21 PlayStation.Blog announces its Planet of the Deals digital-game promotion October 21 through November 4, 2026. The official announcement specifies November 4 at 11:59 p.m. Pacific with region-specific variation in start/end times and game lineup. Confirm your regional PlayStation Store prices and account eligibility rather than relying on a press list of titles.
Examples on Sony's official list
The announcement names Cyberpunk 2077, Final Fantasy VII Rebirth and Hogwarts Legacy Digital Deluxe Edition among hundreds of featured titles. These are not our independently checked checkout prices, and the title list includes specific editions, add-ons and bundles. Confirm the PS4 versus PS5 edition and whether an upgrade or extra purchase is required.
Digital versus disc purchases and gifts
Check whether the recipient has the appropriate PlayStation console, account country/region, storage, internet access and existing license. Digital games are fulfilled through PlayStation Store and do not behave like physical boxed games. Consult Sony's current refund and gifting terms before purchasing, and do not assume an ordinary retail return window applies.
No PS5 Pro price reduction confirmed
The Planet of the Deals announcement covers selected PlayStation Store game licenses and bundles. It does not confirm a reduction on the PS5 Pro console, PS5 hardware bundles, controllers or Sony hardware. For hardware, compare exact disc/digital models, internal storage, seller, warranty, pack-in games and total delivered cost separately.
What to monitor later for November 30
PlayStation's October sale ends weeks before Cyber Monday, November 30, 2026. Save the exact edition and observed price if it meets a known need; check later official Sony and authorized retailer announcements before asserting a future lower price. No November 30 hardware or software price is verified by the October 21 blog.
