Target November 5–7 Early Black Friday 2026: five category discounts, 6 a.m. store opening, holiday returns
Target has released a new official holiday fact sheet with specific November 5–7 categories plus Black Friday opening hours, its own-price match rules and special electronics return deadlines.
Five confirmed category promotions
November 5–7: 40% off selected sweatshirts and sweatpants; 40% off select toys; 40% off selected lights, wreaths, garlands and porch pots; up to 50% off selected kitchen appliances; and 30% off Levi's apparel. 'Selected' and 'up to' matter. Check the exact listing and model at checkout.
Daily discounts and the offer preview
Target's Deal of the Day program runs November 1–December 24 with a new offer each day and a preview the day before. Weekend offers also rotate. These daily sale items are not the same as a blanket Black Friday discount for every product.
Holiday price matching is Target-to-Target
Target says its November 1–December 24 holiday price-match program applies when Target's own eligible price drops later. It is not a claim that Target matches Amazon, Walmart or every third-party Marketplace seller. Keep purchase details and read the full current eligibility rules.
Thanksgiving and Black Friday hours
Target confirms all stores closed November 26, reopening on November 27 at 6 a.m. local time. Selected locations have extended hours November 29–December 23; Christmas Eve locations close by 8 p.m. and stores are closed Christmas Day. Verify your local store hours.
2027 return dates for select categories
For qualifying purchases November 1–December 24, the return period starts December 26. Apple, Beats and unlocked/prepaid phones generally must be returned by January 8, 2027. Most electronics/entertainment excluding Apple and Beats, and most Target Plus items excluding seasonal holiday decor, must be returned by January 24, 2027. Other categories follow separate rules.
Practical comparison checklist
Compare identical models and product sellers, factor in Target Circle eligibility, pickup or delivery costs, and confirm holiday return limits, especially for opened electronics or third-party sellers. Do not present a selected-category savings percentage as proof any specific SKU is discounted.
