Walmart+ and Sam's Club Plus together for $120: when the bundle is worth it

October 26 update: Walmart+ early Deal drops are not universal Cyber Monday access

Walmart has separately announced Early Black Friday November 12–15, Black Friday November 23–29, and Cyber Monday November 30–December 2. Walmart+ members get 24-hour early access to SELECT hot Deal drops in the first two events, with any remaining items opening to everyone the next day. The October 26 announcement does not say Cyber Monday offers require this early-access membership. Evaluate the $120/year combined membership based on real ongoing value rather than assuming exclusivity across all holiday discounts.

What Walmart announced October 20

Starting October 20, 2026, Walmart+ and Sam's Club Plus can be purchased together for $120 per year. Walmart describes this as an ongoing new membership option with no published end date. It is NOT a 2026 Cyber Monday product discount and is not a promise that every item at both stores is cheaper.

New members versus existing members

For a new member, Walmart states both memberships cost $120 a year. Walmart+ annual members can change to the combined option for $22 more annually. Sam's Club members can upgrade to Plus for $60 more per year and receive Walmart+. Sam's Club Plus subscribers may activate Walmart+ without another membership fee. People paying for both can link eligible accounts; Walmart says most are eligible for a prorated Walmart+ refund. Verify your own eligibility and renewal price in your account.

The 'free delivery' offer has real cart thresholds

Walmart's footnotes state a $35 minimum for eligible scheduled Walmart orders, and a $50 minimum for eligible Sam's Club delivery. Availability, restrictions, area coverage, merchandise eligibility and fees can vary. Never treat $120 as a lifetime fee, assume every delivery is free, or add needless products just to cross a threshold. Use a typical basket to determine savings.

Streaming and fuel are conditional benefits

The included streaming choice is ONE advertising-supported service: Peacock Premium or Paramount+ Essential, with an eligible choice every 90 days and separate registration/terms. It does not bundle both streaming plans. Walmart lists fuel savings at participating stations, with a 5–10 cent difference in Alabama; do not count savings at locations you don't use.

How to compare a one-year total

First note the extra membership cost you would actually pay versus what you already have. Then estimate qualifying delivery fees you would avoid, fuel savings at accessible stations, cash benefits on eligible purchases and the realistic value of streaming you would otherwise buy. Sam's Cash is 2% on qualifying Sam's Club purchases, subject to the $750 annual cap and other terms. Separate actual cash saved from intangible convenience and unused benefits.

Decide before renewing, not because of a holiday badge

If you only need one store or rarely cross delivery thresholds, paying for both memberships may add cost rather than save money. If you regularly use both stores, compare the incremental $22, $60 or zero-member upgrade option as appropriate, renewal terms, and whether membership costs erode any product-specific discounts.
